The two-day theoretical and practical training program organized by Husqvarna and Pantelis Papadopoulos S.A. on March 13 & 14, 2026, was successfully completed, with the participation of selected members of the SupportCY team.
SupportCY, an initiative of the Bank of Cyprus, focuses on social solidarity and the immediate response to emergency situations. Its main activities include organizing a Volunteer Corps to assist in natural disasters (such as wildfires and floods), operating the “SupportCY House” in Nicosia for events, and distributing essential goods, food, and equipment.
Members of SupportCY, along with new volunteers from “The Smile of the Child,” also took part in the training.
