Corporate social responsibility is an integral part of our culture. We annually support initiatives that aim to protect the environment and assist vulnerable groups. Our initiatives are based on 3 pillars:

  • We financially supported ELIZA, an organization protecting children at risk of abuse or neglect.

  • We joined the awareness campaign for the timely diagnosis and prevention of breast cancer. Through a Facebook campaign, we organized a lottery for a Husqvarna collector’s chainsaw and financially supported the Panhellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer ALMA ZOIS. Moreover, we organized a corporate event on breast cancer awareness, with Dr. Athina Vourtsi as the main speaker.
  • We support the lotteries organized by the Association for the Protection of Unborn Children AGKALIA to strengthen the association’s objectives.

  • We offered part of the proceeds from the sales of Husqvarna machines to ELEPAP and to BOROUME, a non-profit organization fighting food waste and hunger in Greece.

PANTELIS PAPADOPOULOS S.A. as a continuous and unceasing protector of the natural environment immediately responded to the moving and great effort of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), to support the region of North Evia, which has been tested by fires. Participating in the aid through the "New Agriculture, New Generation" NGO, we supported this initiative by delivering machinery, safety equipment and providing training to professionals in the fire-affected areas (resin producers, loggers, farmers, etc.) worth approximately €200,000.

This action began to be implemented from January 2022 and was completed in September of the same year, first listening to the needs of the professionals affected by the fire and then offering appropriate tools and equipment to the NGO "New Agriculture, New Generation" zeroing the profit margin, with simultaneous training by the experienced staff of our group. Proud of the even minimal relief and support we gave to the people of Northern Evia, we are committed to staying true to the duty of protecting their environment and also of offering to those who are tested by adverse and harsh conditions.

Pantelis Papadopoulos SA, under the Managing Director, Mr. Alexandros Papadopoulos, and the Ministry of Energy and Environment, under the Deputy Minister, Mr. George Amyras, signed a four-year Cooperation Agreement for the "adoption" of the natural forest environment of Olympia, which concerns the donation of HUSQVARNA machinery and personal protective equipment, with a total value of €100,000, and the provision of training for forest officials and forest workers for the safer use and optimal utilization of HUSQVARNA's innovative functions.

Donation of protective equipment OREGON to the technical company of public and private green works ANTIRIS LTD, which is active in the restoration works of the burned areas of Varybombi. This equipment has all the safety certifications of the European Union and will help the safer and more efficient operation of the workshops in the rehabilitation and prevention of future fires and floods.

Sponsorship of machinery and material equipment in the Elite Special Task Force of Greece, which aims to protect the life, health and property of citizens and nature, organize sports and cultural activities and contributed significantly to the extinguishing of fires caused in many areas of Greece in August 2021.

Donation of equipment to the Volunteer Forest Firefighters Rescue Team to strengthen and support its project which has the primary purpose of forest firefighting and forest fire protection in the northern suburbs of Athens and assists the State Fire Service in the wider geographical area of Attica.
