HISTORY

In 1959 Pantelis M. Papadopoulos, depending solely on his insight and determination, traveled from Athens to Sweden by train, with the ambitious goal to take over the agency of Husqvarna.

His dynamic attitude persuaded the company to expand outside of Scandinavia for the first time; thus in December of 1962 Pantelis M. Papadopoulos became the first Husqvarna distributor in the world. The first order included just 20 chainsaws, which a small yet passionate team demonstrated to professional foresters throughout the country. The actual journey had just begun.

During the last 65 years the company has been on the rise and a leader in its field. Nowadays, the second generation, with Pantelis P. Papadopoulos and Alexander P. Papadopoulos, continues with the same eagerness and entrepreneurial boldness. The deep experience and the values that have made the company respected are now combined with innovative ideas and modern business tactics which foreshadow a promising future.

2025
  • WEIBANGis added to our group portfolio. Weibang has been manufacturing high quality garden machinery since 1997. Weibang machines are designed to last, with heavy duty, professional quality components and the highest quality materials. Weibang uses the latest manufacturing techniques, offering the highest quality components with a strict quality control process.
2024
  • We launched our partnership with HUSQVARNA CONSTRUCTION of the Husqvarna Group. HUSQVARNA CONSTRUCTION is a leader in machinery, equipment, and diamond tools serving the construction industry.
  • We have created a new model workshop at our premises, which also acts as a training center for our partners' network.
2023
  • We created two model exhibitions-concept stores for the Husqvarna & Gardena brands.
2022
  • Pantelis Papadopoulos S.A. and the Ministry of Energy and Environment, signed a regarding the commitment of the former to offer HUSQVARNA machinery and protective equipment, with a total value of €100,000, as well as the provision of training for forest officials and forest workers for the safer use and optimal utilization of the machinery.
2019
  • We are starting our partnership with ITC Power, which is specialized in the production of power generators up to 500kVA. ITC is ISO 9001 certified for the organization of its production and non-production processes and above all for ensuring the quality of its products.
  • HUSQVARNA expands its partnership with our Group and trusts us the Cyprus market for the brands HUSQVARNA, GARDENA & McCULLOCH / UPM. .
  • We start our cooperation with the Korean factory SNY, which manufactures high quality olive nets, protection nets and more.
  • We are expanding our range of concrete vibrators through a top-notch collaboration with the Japanese brand ΕΧΕΝ.
2018
  • Another major industry,HONDA, trusts us for its engines.
2016
  • We continue to grow in the Balkans with the founding of Agroland Bulgaria A.D., which is from now on the exclusive distributor for the brands HUSQVARNA, GARDENA, McCULLOCH / UPM, PARTNER & FLYMO in Bulgaria.
  • Considering Pantelis Papadopoulos S.A. as a dynamic and trusted partner, Zenoah, member of Husqvarna Group, begins distributing its products to the Greek market through our company.
  • We are developing our cooperation with OREGON, by launching its products on the Cyprus market.
2015
  • We add to our range MICHELIN, washing machines; the top car tire manufacturer has transferred its high level of know-how and quality into new sectors.
  • Recognizing Pantelis Papadopoulos S.A.B.E. as a dynamic and trusted partner, Zenoah, a member of the Husqvarna AB Group, begins distributing its products in the Greek market through our company.
2014
  • We are awarded as one of the Diamonds of the Greek Economy. In the annual corporate event for rewarding excellence DIAMONDS OF THE GREEK ECONOMY 2014 – THE MOST HEALTHILY DEVELOPING BUSINESSES OF THE COUNTRY we rank among the top commercial companies.
  • We supply the Greek market with state-of-the-art models of winemaking machines made by the Italian factory ENOITALIA.
  • Our range of products is enriched with the grape crushers POLSINELLI.
  • Our collaboration with HUSQVARNA AB expands even further; we start distributing GARDENA, products: the top consumer’s choice for gardening and irrigating products. Along with GARDENA, we began the distribution of McCULLOCH products.
2013
  • We begin a new collaboration with ZANON, which manufactures a wide range of battery and agricultural machines, as well as protracted tractors for professional use.

  • We began collaborating with KIPOR, one of the biggest engine and electricity generators manufacturers worldwide
2005
  • We established new stocking space facilities in the industrial area of Sindos in Thessaloniki, so as to better serve our partner network in central and northern Greece.
2002
  • With over 50 years of experience, ALTRAD BELLE is an established manufacturer of light equipment for the Building and Construction markets and since 2002 we deliver its products in the Greek market through the net of our selected partners.
1999
  • We move to our new, company-owned facilities at 92 Athinon Avenue.
1996
  • Η Jonsered, member of HUSQVARNA AB Group with the world's first easy one-man chainsaw, enters our family.
1994
  • Since 1994 we have been importing and delivering spraying pumps for agriculture, piston pumps for industrial washing and high-pressure cleaners from ANNOVI REVERBERI.
1988
  • Our range of products is enhanced by Japanese power through our new collaboration with SAMURAI (KANZAWA).
1984
  • PARTNER, member of HUSQVARNA AB, is added to our group portfolio.
1981
  • We start importing and delivering SUBARU petrol engines, SUBARU is the third biggest engine manufacturer in the world.
1980
  • We launched MASTER: a comprehensive range of machines with SUBARU engines. Since then, thousands of consumers trust MASTER, counting on our full support and after-sales service.
1975
  • Our company headquarters is transferred to 31 Marni Street in Athens.
  • For more than 55 years, GRILLO has been innovating in the design and production of machinery for professional and amateur agriculture and the maintenance of green spaces. Since 1975, its products have been distributed in Greece by our company.
1972
  • Today Atika is one of the biggest suppliers of gardening and construction products. Our collaboration began in 1972.
1969
  • Next collaboration: FIORI, has been designing and manufacturing self-loading concrete mixers and dumpers for the construction industry since 1942.
1968
  • We begin our collaboration with VICON, member of Kverneland Group, which has been engaging in the development, production and delivery of agricultural machines since 1879.
1963
  • We distribute products from OREGON, inventor and biggest manufacturer of chain for chainsaws.
1962
  • We become the first HUSQVARNAdistributor globally.
