Husqvarna supporting the Halkidis partner Tools Dynamics and the leading Greek company "PANTELIS PAPADOPOULOS SA", will participate in the 2nd Symposium of Visual Creation in Tree Trunks - Carving with Chainsaw under the auspices of the Decorative Workshop of the Department of Visual & Applied Arts of the School of Fine Arts of Arts of the University of Western Macedonia, in cooperation with the Velistichi Equestrian Club.
With the participation of dozens of artists and professionals from the wider field of logging, the 2nd Symposium on Visual Creation in Tree Trunks - Carving with Chainsaw is expected to take place from 20 – 24 May 2022 under the auspices of the Decorative Workshop of the Department of Visual & Applied Arts of the School of Fine Arts University of Western Macedonia, in collaboration with Velistichi Equestrian Club. Husqvarna and the leading Greek company "PANTELIS PAPADOPOULOS SA", will participate in the symposium supporting its local partner Chalkidis Tools Dynamics in order to breathe new life into the Event after 2 years of abstinence due to the pandemic.
The Symposium aims to highlight the beneficial management and exploitation of natural material, through its free processing and highlighting its properties. The ultimate goal is to return to the processing of wood in other areas, such as the creation of utilitarian objects, its use in structural constructions, in decorative elements and other applications. During the symposium on Saturday and Sunday, an educational seminar-workshop will be held, open to students of the Department of Fine Arts and artists, who will first be presented with techniques and tools and then ways of visual exploitation of the trunks. On this day of celebration, we will have the opportunity to showcase HUSQVARNA's professional solutions in both logging and artistic expression. At the same time, exhibitions and creations of great artists and students of the woodcarving field will be held in this space.
Visitors will watch a special demonstration, in the central Ptolemais Square and also at the Velistichi Equestrian Club at a prepared tour station, the unique features of the professional chainsaws HUSQVARNA T435 14", T525 10"(1/4"), 120 MARK II 16" , 130 16", 135 MARK II 16".
