The Socca World Cup 2019 Mini Soccer World Championship concluded in Rethymno, Crete, keeping the public's interest undiminished from 12 to 20 October. Both the exciting football matches and the parallel events created a festive atmosphere on the island.
For 8 days, more than 100,000 spectators flooded the stands of the impressive stadium built on the beach of Rethymnon especially for the needs of the event and danced to the rhythms of "Fiesta", the Socca anthem performed by Onirama.
Russia was crowned World Champion, while Greece, after a series of impressive performances and with the 7th player in the stands, took third place.
Husqvarna®, a proud sponsor of one of the biggest sports events in Greece in recent years, lived this unique experience up close, with the GOALIVE mascot stirring up the people of Rethymnon.
From the competition at our booth, Manolis Fragakis emerged as the winner, winning a Husqvarna® T525 Pruning Chainsaw.
