Husqvarna is announcing a voluntary recall for the Husqvarna Aspire™ P5-P4A (Pruning Chainsaw) and PE5-P4A (Telescopic Pole Pruning Chainsaw) models due to a potential injury risk.
Discontinuation of use and product recall
Husqvarna has identified a few cases where the pruning chainsaw may start to operate as soon as the battery is connected, without the ignition being activated.
There are no reports of injuries or property damage. Due to a high sense of responsibility, Husqvarna informs about the need to stop use immediately and announces the recall of the range of the specific products.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and return them to the store of purchase for a full refund.

Affected products
The affected products are models P5-P4A (Pruning Chainsaw) and PE5-P4A (Telescopic Pole Pruning Chainsaw) with a product code and serial number as shown in the table below.
