The 3rd Panhellenic HUSQVARNA Logging Championship was concluded with particular success, with the participation of 30 competitors, at the Sports Center of Karpenisi, on Sunday, September 25, under the auspices of the Municipality of Karpenisi and organized by HUSQVARNA - PANTELIS PAPADOPOULOS SA.
In a four-sport, high-skill event that was "run" twice, competitors, using their preferred brand and displacement of chainsaw, were scored overall on their performance in a) half-half bevel washer cutting, b) cutting washer without removing the chainsaw from the bottom, c) cutting "branches" in various directions and d) nailing in the center of trunk.
The winners who distinguished themselves with the highest performances in the first three places received their prizes, after a five-hour competition process and with the unabated participation of more than 300 spectators, who watched the impressive performances of professional and amateur loggers from 8 regions of Greece (Florina, Kavala, Kalavrita, Larissa, Fokida, Kalambaka, Agrinio, Evrytania).
In particular, the first three places were occupied by: Panagiotis Oikonomou, in 1st place, winning the professional chainsaw 592XP, Konstantinos Arkoumanis, in 2nd place, winning the professional chainsaw 572XP, Ioannis Tsigaridas, in 3rd position, winning a €500 gift voucher for HUSQVARNA machines and products
