Husqvarna Award at the 13th DIY & Home Improvement Conference
In the framework of the DIY Products of the Year 2022 competition organized for another year by the magazine "mastoremata", and after a vote of the consumer public, the Robotic Lawnmower Husqvarna Automower® 405X was named the top product in the category "Garden Tools & Machinery" in the 13th DIY & Home Improvement Conference held on November 24 at the Benaki Museum.
The Husqvarna Automower® 405X Robotic Lawn Mower is a reliable and high-performance model of the X-line series for automating the lawn mowing process. It is ideal for cutting very small lawns and can handle terrain with slopes of up to 40%, while navigating complex areas and narrow passages with ease.
Thanks to the electric adjustment of the cutting height, the TargetHeight function and the weather timer it has, it ensures the perfect cutting of the lawn with minimal human intervention. In the tenth edition of the institution, the readers of the "mastoremata" magazine and the visitors of www.mastoremata.gr had the opportunity to vote for products from 6 different categories (Electric tools - Garden tools and machinery - Paints & Varnishes - Building materials - Energy saving – Innovation) that impressed them this year and to award the best with the "DIY Product of the Year" logo 2022".

Η κριτική επιτροπή των DIY Προϊόντων της Χρονιάς απαρτίστηκε από κορυφαίους ακαδημαϊκούς εμπειρογνώμονες, θεσμικούς φορείς και στελέχη με σημαντική εμπειρία και γνώση της αγοράς DIY & Home Improvement.
The "DIY Product of the Year" logo is now established as an important distinction for the market of tools, paints, building materials, as well as home renovation and energy improvement products.
A particularly important and touching moment of the event was the awarding of the company's founder, Pantelis M. Papadopoulos for his overall contribution to the industry.
In 1959, Pantelis M. Papadopoulos, started his commercial activity with the aim of cooperating with the largest machinery houses. With only insight and courage, he began his journey by train from Athens to Sweden, with the ambitious goal of taking over the Husqvarna company dealership. His dynamic presence convinced the company to go outside the borders of Scandinavia for the first time and so in December 1962 Pantelis M. Papadopoulos became the first representative of Husqvarna machines worldwide. During his long successful career, Pantelis M. Papadopoulos managed to contribute significantly to the development of the business space, offering high quality products and services and of course contributing to the care of the natural environment.
