Husqvarna® and Pantelis Papadopoulos SA. announce the signing of a four-year memorandum of cooperation with the Ministry of Energy & Environment for the "adoption" of the forest of Ancient Olympia.
On the occasion of World Olympic Day, we make sure to keep the flame where it belongs! HUSQVARNA and Pantelis Papadopoulos SA. took a symbolic initiative of responsibility, at the beginning of the fire protection season, in order to strengthen the Forestry Service and those who will fight together the battle of fire protection in Ancient Olympia.
A 4-year Cooperation Agreement concerning the "adoption" of the natural forest environment of Olympia was signed today between Pantelis Papadopoulos SA, under the CEO, Mr. Alexandros Papadopoulos, and of the Ministry of Energy and Environment, under the Deputy Minister Mr. Giorgos Amyras.
We are committed to offering HUSQVARNA machinery and personal protective equipment, with a total value of €100,000, and to provide training for forest officials and forest workers on the safer use and optimal utilization of HUSQVARNA's innovative functions.
Following the signing of the Memorandum, a presentation was made of the functional advantages of HUSQVARNA machines, as well as safe handling and self-protection in front of forest officials and forest workers.

The signing ceremony held in Olympia, in a symbolic place, in the courtyard of Prophet Ilias in Flokas Ilias, was attended by representatives of the local government, the security forces, civil protection volunteers, forest officials and members of forestry cooperatives, who in turn thanked the donors and the political leadership of the Ministry for the initiative.
